At Manux we welcome general release of Microsoft CRM 2011 for on-premis hosting 28th February. The hosted by Microsoft Cloud version was released last week.
Our review of CRM 2011 (formally known as CRM 5, but Microsoft decided to jazz up the name), indicates that this version offers the user, administrator and customiser alike, a greatly enhanced experience.
Where MS CRM 4.0 was quite clunky to use and terribly clunky to customise and deploy solutions, CRM 2011 is much more refined. It allows both the user and the administrator to easily customise the look at feel of CRM, without blood and tears.
It seems Microsoft have finally delivered a version of CRM which is not merely just for sales Customer Relationship Management, instead they have developed a platform to build a line of business application to support you business, a so called xRM solution.
Wikipedia defines XRM: "Extended Relationship Management is a strategy that leverages CRM concepts and methods, not just to customers but to other constituents with which an enterprise maintains relationships, including but not limited to: partners, employees and suppliers. XRM can be employed as either a unified system of relationship management across all constituents, deployed by extending the use of distinct CRM technologies, methods and processes beyond merely customers..." -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XRM
Manux will be virtually queuing up at the Microsoft e-door to obtain the first non beta version offered.
Both the on-premis hosted at your data centre and the hosted in the cloud implementations of CRM 2011 will be offered by Manux.
Contact us today to discuss your CRM or perhaps more accurately your "xRM" requirement. We predict that MS CRM 2011 will be the major line of business adoption in 2011!
